Principal’s Corner

Principal Lilly Rincon leads the Gators at Gene Tomas High School. She has 27 years of experience in education and has served as a classroom teacher, teacher specialist, assistant principal, and principal throughout her career. She proudly serves as the founding principal of Gene Tomas High School, where she led the planning, opening, and successful inaugural year of the campus. A graduate of University of Houston-Downtown, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences, Mrs. Rincon later received her Master of Education from the University of Houston-Main Campus. She is passionate about building a collaborative school culture grounded in high expectations, strong relationships, and student success. Mrs. Rincon enjoys traveling, attending concerts of all genres, and spending time with her family. She and her husband are proud parents of four young adults and believe that education is one of the most powerful pathways to opportunity and lifelong success.
